Owl Day KS2

Class: Oak Year: 2021 - 2022

The children in Oak Class had a fabulous Science Day based around the theme of Owls. The children started the day off by researching the diet, habitat and special features of different owls. They then created beautiful fact files to show what they had learnt. In the afternoon, the children had the opportunity to dissect real owl pellets to explore diet and nutrition. It was amazing to find all the parts of different skeletons and the children used bone charts to help them identify rodents, moles and other animal skulls.
