About us

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Adderley Church of England Primary School and enjoy working with the children, staff, parents, Church and wider community to ensure we can be the very best we can and to ensure that all flourish as individuals.

We believe that every child has the right to to a high quality curriculum in a caring and nurturing environment and encourage and support our pupils to be advocates for change and kindness as members of the community. Through following our fundamental principles to be 'Ready, Respectful & Safe' and and our school vision which simply states to ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’ as Good Samaritans, we promote values which seek to provide a foundation which allows all to live life in all its fullness in a way which is both compassionate and brave.

Our rich, broad and balanced curriculum is ambitious for all children and enables all pupils to make excellent progress. We also consider the whole child and aim to develop individuals who will make a positive contribution to society. We encourage our children to try out new pursuits and to develop new interests and hobbies during their time with us. Activities such as learning a new instrument, pursuing a new sport, such as fencing or archery, frequent visits to our on site extensive Forest School site and facilitating opportunities top enjoy musical performances or art exhibitions are all part of our broader curriculum offer.

Our website includes a welath of information that I hope you will find useful. However, if you are wishing for your child to join Adderley, we warmly welcome you to arrange a visit.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
