From the moment our children take their first steps through the door, we embrace as many opportunities as possible to learn outdoors.

Our school forest is a sight to behold, and we believe that we are truly privileged to have such beautiful grounds which our children love to explore and learn within.

Our forest site offers a fabulous outdoor classroom for all of our children to enjoy, and our class teachers seize every opportunity to use our forest to further enhance our curriculum provision. Learning in the forest allows all pupils to challenge themselves; build self-esteem and strengthen well-being; develop new skills and learn the art of self- reflection.

Most of all, we love to see our children being active in the great outdoors as they learn to connect and respect our special environment.

Miss Archer is embarking on the journey of becoming a fully qualified Forest School Leader and once this has been completed we are excited to be able to offer accredited Forest School sessions to not only our school but the wider community.
