Our Vision: 'Believing we can achieve'
"Pupils are polite and respectful; they take great pride in their school. Pupils behave well in lessons and when moving around school. They show great care for one another." OFSTED 2018
Welcome to our wonderful small school where the children’s interests, excitement and happiness are at the heart of all our learning. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Adderley CE Primary School where we seek to build resilience, promote independence and work together to be the very best that we can be. Our small school has a warm family feel. We have a committed and caring team who work hard to ensure positive outcomes for every child. "Relationships with staff are positive and warm." OfSTED 2018
We are proud to be a small, rural Church of England school located in the pretty village of Adderley, a five minute drive from Market Drayton town. As a Christian school everything we do is driven by our eleven values: respect, thankfulness, courage, kindness, perseverance, friendship, forgiveness, patience, responsibility, truthfulness, trust. We take pride in these values being reflected in the way the children learn and play at our school. In September 2018 we received an Ofsted visit; they recognised the caring and nurturing environment we provide to ensure good outcomes for children's well-being and academic achievement. "Pupils’ individual talents and interests are shared and celebrated throughout the school. This is a nurturing school community where pupils support and care for each other." OfSTED 2018
Our teachers are talented and creative and skilled in bringing out the best in every individual. All the children are treated as individuals and our curriculum is designed to ensure all children flourish. We are lucky that we have wonderful grounds, with a forest on site, making our school unique in the local area. Our outdoor spaces allow us an extra dimension to bringing our vibrant curriculum alive. "The good-quality curriculum makes a significant contribution to pupils’ personal development, behaviour and welfare." OfSTED 2018
A website can only ever give you a flavour of what a school is like. We hope you have enjoyed looking at these pages. If you would like to know more about our flourishing school, please do get in touch. We would be delighted to show you our lovely school in action.
